If you are talking about rebounding relationship...

You can see the guy or the gal tends to be very close to you at the start. They will do lovey dovey things to you that you might not know, you ask them - they most likely reply you "used to do it with ex". Also there WILL be comparisons from them regarding you and their exs.

The best part of the rebounded relationship is: after some time they start to get tired of you (not all cases but many to most) and you can tell they actually took you for a spare tire to fill their void.

it's painful pretending to be hard-hearted,rejecting and staying away from my ex even tho i still miss him so much. it's miserable still suffering from the legacies he left behind, sloughing for the bank accounts he emptied, images of what he did to "convert" me into a "normal girl" haunt my mind and in the midst of all the mess memories of the sweet times we shared, his shadows still linger everyday. there is so much chaos and bitterness in me it's suffocating.

when someone appeared who showers me with so much attention and care he becomes an air hole for a much needed breather. he's clearly a rebound to me rite? i think he knows but he doesnt seem to b reacting to the fact. and despite that i should know better, part of me denies it just cos the hard time i m having makes me really crave for some comfort and warmth.

how should i handle this? m i being unfair to that person?

to mr. nice-guy i mentioned: if u happen to read this post dun b too upset i m not digging at u i m grateful for ur presence but i dun wish to deceive u or have u deceive urself. i m just really confused now. nevertheless, thanks for all u hav done. really appreciate them.

I would say stay away from a relationship right after you break up with someone. Get together only when you are sure you have healed. Otherwise this person will always be, in your eyes, a replacement for your ex, or someone you are with just because you are hurting and lonely.

Even if it's a rebound for now, doesn't mean it can't develop into a stable relationship still in the future to come....?

If it really bothers you that much, maybe you should just opt for a friendship to ease your pain for now....?

If it really makes you that guilty, you might wanna opt to tell him your concern? (Though depending on who he is, this action might lead to consequences of its own...)

My personal take is that you just treasure whatever you've got now, return the love in kind just like in a normal relationship... Rebound, no rebound, the future.... Like I've said, how far can you really tell.....?

asshole(my last ex) started out as my rebound too i also tot he was really kind gave me comfort soothed the pain in my aching heart with so much gentleness his warm seemingly unconditional embrace brought a smile to my tear-washed face, he said all he really wanted was to see me smile gradually he dried my tears but not too long after that i started tearing again cos of him and the complications he brought into my life. not really good news eh..

I simply don't understand why people tends to go into a relationship, thinking that it's all a bed of roses....?
