Sv 50 has 1 bus less now. Plying only 14 buses (9DDs, 5 SDs). 1 HGDEP BSEP DD gone to SP. So everyone was speculating 119 will lose DDs but sv 50 lost one while 119 still has its two

This post is meant to correct some errors that I found in sgwiki with regards to the duties for Intra-town 307 and feeder 302.

1. Think I mentioned before that 307 only has 6 full AM/PM shifts, though it has 7 perm AM/PM buses. On any one day, one perm bus will not be on 307 coz the driver will be on rest. Pls kindly remove duty 307AP07, which does not exist. Similar to 302, only has 6 AP/PM shifts (inclusive BSEP) but 7 perm full AM/PM buses.

2. SMB1329G is on duty 971ES104, not 307S102 as mentioned on sgwiki. Today SMB224G was on this slot and I managed to glance at the duty code.

3. SMB3045L is on 302AP90, not 302S190 as mentioned in sgwiki. It will change shift at cck int at around 3pm everyday.

Pls do note and edit accordingly.

Anyway, just a side note, should we have a new forum title that records all the duties that the bus is on? Example, SMB121U is on 985AP01 today. Especially now service like 963 very messy due to retiring buses..may be useful in indentifying which bus perm based on the slots. How? Just a suggestion. :)

Umm, I created a 'Fleet of the Day' thread, but it died after 7 posts... Icon_cry So, I don't know if I should create another thread showing the buses on a certain service (I like to use 169 weekend slots) in the order the slots are arranged... [BTW, I only know that the duty of 169TQ1 (TIB779U on weekends) comes after 169AP07(TIB815Z on weekends) and that the slot before 169AP07 (TIB815Z on weekends) is for a random bus... Icon_lol Icon_redface ]

Good job to introduce 55B from 7pm onwards. This will give better frequency to NSL people to AMK Ave 10 (south). Those coming from CBD can alight at Bishan and take 55 to their homes than go to AMK and then 261. Will ease the load on 261 with this move.

AM peak no need because I see people crossing road when they see a 55 coming to take it to Bishan. I think they will have 1 or 2 buses for 55B crossover from 55? Mostly, SDs should be used.

Yeah weekends loading can be quite low especially off peak. Hence, there is a large number of SDs deployed.

Most split shift buses have one permanent driver

For smrt they like to rotate between split and normal buses,sbst on other hand will only rotate if buses are schedule for preventive maintenance..Where got split only 1 perm drivers?966 got 10 perm split drivers and 2 empty duties will be done by standby BCs.

One example svc 853,9 normal duties but only 16 perm BCs with 1 empty duties will be done by standby BCs and 7 splits but only 6 perm split BCs and 1 empty done by standby BCs

Really i always see the same driver driving this buses (330H,332C,335U,1061A,1046U,1090R,520Z,) for AM and PM Split section meaning 1 driver for split shift buses?
