Saw bunching of 4 DDs on 147 this morning at Bendemeer Road around 8.45 in the morning. 1 of it was 147A. and all 4 of them were one behind the other. I don't know what the BCs were thinking. Can't one drive faster and go ahead? Or one slow down.

Saw 4 dds 88 just now at along Hougang Avenue 8 towards PSR INT at around 9 am in the morning,I don't why the buses go at one shot.I think 2 DDs 88 is enough to cope with the loading,why need 4 dds?

The announcements from the trains on the new SMRT Buses sounded like a weird and bad idea when they were first introduced on the OC500LEs back then. The announcements might cause the bus to become too noisy was one of the reasons.

Now most of us probably have gotten used to it and don't mind it at all...I guess?

Bunching. I am sure SBST does not want them to go together.

And many times BCs play games. Seen many BCs driving extremely slow, and many BCs who drive very fast as they do not have many pax to take on bus stops. I have seen this on 147 many times esp during morning peak towards CBD. You can spot 3-4 DDs easily bunching up, one of them will be 147A and the BCs drive like a train, rather than one of them slowing down and keeping a 2-3 mins separation.

On Bendemeer Rd, if you keep 2-3 mins separation, you can still get good number of pax.

Some BCs, think their time got alot, then drive slow slow, then when DDU finally beep beep beep, then chiong mode all the way. 88A BCs have DAMN LOT time. So they incidentally bunch up with other 88 buses coming past and it's purpose is defeated when it reaches the bus stop LATER than the 88 bus.

It's not a fact, he said that if both operators used bendies and DDs. Which isn't true at the moment. SBST only uses DD while SMRT only uses bendies. Obviously both operators use rigids.

Saw this svc 293 driver trying to re-position the mirror but couldn't get the desired position. She then drove the bus for a short distance, and stopped to re-adjust again. It took about 5 mins, then she drove off, not sure if she adjusted the mirror to her desired position or is it because of the schedule as the bus is quite full. Maybe SBS shouldn't have replaced the original Scania mirrors with those from older buses.

Well, how is it even possible? Can all SBST routes take DDs? Can all interchanges under SMRT manage only bendies? Do we have so many parking spots, or space at interchanges?
