but i also agree with jojo in the sense, this can tie him over this period... but if things continue as they are, this issue will arise again... and the wife will once more be unhappy.

he has his own language of love, but so do his wife. hence they should sit down and learn each other's language of love

Surely a person who preach should action too.

Every once a while....
When my man wants a loving, I give it to him.
When my man wants a beer, I drink with him.
when my man wants a meal, I cook for him.
When he comes back late at night, surely I nag at him.

What is so difficult as to please your partner ?

Should I complain he is expecting too much from me, on top of what duty as a partner should be ? No, because in love you give so your partner is happy.

Do you love your partner ?

Men and woman speaks different language of love.
To make a relationship work, each must try to understand the language of each other in order for love to be communicated.

Knowing your husband loves you, is not the same as feeling the love your husband showers on you.

Being romantic is 10% character, 90% efforts.

But let's say you married him or chose to be with him knowing he is not romantic at heart, wouldn't it be unfair to want him to change just because of your own definition of love and romance?

Many little things I've done like accompany my gf when she goes to a job interview or things like that might not be romantic, but I certainly hope she appreciates them...

Do you really believe there is such a person as a total non-romantic ?
Unless he is made of stone.

And there is no such person as a total romantic.

When you accompany your gf , or give her the supports she needs.
Those are duties and responsibilities of a bf.

When your gf keeps you company and nourish you with her concerns.
Those are duties and responsibilities of a gf.

Romantism is an effort that must be put in with her in your thoughts.
It is an action of love. Action requires effort.

Don't confuse your responsibilities with being romantic.

Duties and responsibilities are what keeps the relationship going.
Romantism is what bonds the relationship stronger.

Relationship is like a bon fire.
It takes effort to have it started.
It will burn as long as there is no rain or strong wind.
It will continue to burn and burn as long as the fuel don't run out.
If you do nothing to the fuel/wood/charcoal , the fire will eventually die off.
So once a while, you throw in more wood to keep it burning strong.
