rainee SG I give her the benefit of my doubt in my own way. I do not see why I have to defend her by bashing up devil or something. Like what I said, I don't trust whatever people said here 100%. There is a possibility that devil commits the crime. But there is a possiblity he didnt as well. I refuse to defend the other party just by bashing up someone whom I cannot say 100%, is guilty.

rainee SG Nah, I am not flaming him. I am trying to reason with him but he refused to do that and instead brought up some issues which are not related to the case at all. I have already asked the 3 questions in the other thread, I will post them here again: 1) Were you there to witness the incident when it happens? Were you there to see it happened with your own eyes? 2) Were you there to read the SMSes or PMs whcih were supposed to be sent out? Were you there to interpret the messages yourself? 3) Can you, say for 100% sure that Devil is guilty? If yes, what evidence can you produce? Sadly, law works based on reasoning rather than based on emotions/passion. That was what I was trying to say when I posted the quote earlier.

rainee SG He doesn't understand what justice is. I refuse to talk about justice with someone who doesn't get that hard evidence is needed to prove that someone is 100% guilty. And just because I am not like him who bash up someone just based on hearsays, he is saying I am defending someone.

So I thought they might actually be the same person, hence I smsed Quinsy the question of "Do you have a sex buddy?" what a superb coincidence..look at what he says.. think about it,is this a conduct of a decent person? tell me otherwise

Chin Eng SG I think we are the same page. It is very strange that some folks tend to think that we are taking sides for sake of the people. This is so far from the truth. I think, at least, both of us are on the sides of sensibility and reason. Someone said he wanted justice: but what kind of justice? hunt 'em down and hang 'em up? This is NOT JUSTICE - it's a lynch mob mentality. This is justice based on guilty-until-proven-innocent. True justice hinges solely on the crimes in question - deal solely with these and no any other implied or unproven allegations. Any allegations must be folowed by facts. If there are no evidence, well, I am sure we all have better things to do.
