Persistence pays off?
Yes!
Recent studies conducted by psychologists (George B. Anderson,
Larry Becker) have shown that girls are attracted to guys who
desperately chase for them. As psychologists tells us, the human
psyche response to persistence equally as the feeling of already
'being in love'. This is because pursuance is an original trait of
mammals used in procreation or the continuation of the survival of
the species. A male typically 'pursues' the female. The human
psyche, because of social conditioning, response to the 'chase'
negatively at first. But desperation pays off eventually. This
means that any girl you choose will eventually 'give in' to the
'chase'.
But this is only if the desperation is accompanied by three
important factors:
1) Be Noticed
Studies shown that 'being noticed' happens in 1/7th of a second.
This is important because we form opinions within the first minute.
Being noticed means physical uniqueness, and good looks are
irrelevant. Change your hairstyle, clothing style; wear contacts.
Try wearing bright colors like purple/orange/pink. Become someone
different compared to any guy she ever met before. Be comfortable
in your new skin - the new you.
2) Relentlessness
Pursuance of a goal will be attained with persistence. There is a
reason why successful businessmen reach their goals. Thomas Edison
failed 1000 times before succeeding in inventing the ordinary
light-bulb. Chase after her relentlessly, but not to the point that
you stalk/annoy her. But one that tells her you are patient and
will wait and patiently shower her with affection. Send her a
one-way sweet SMS on her birthday. Send flowers at her
office.
3) Be nice
Girls are known to be more appreciative of inner qualities more
than boys. Forget the 'bad-boy' attitude. Give her space, allow her
to choose her favorite restaurant, say "may i". In the modern world
we live in now, girls enjoy playing the independent role of the
dominant person. She enjoys the fantasy man who is chivalrous and
polite. Never joke about her shoes or her hair. When you give her
the space and decision, she naturally becomes attracted to you. Its
a rare man who pulls up a chair for his woman!
There you go. In a nutshell, change yourself before you
relentlessly chase her. A woman appreciates a man who is able to
stick around and wait for her.
