If Olive Oil and Waxsol don't work, ur earwax is prolly too hard,
large and/or stuck to the skin of your ear canal. Ear candling
works pretty well, but I find it's not practical ($$) and doesn't
work well on badly clogged ears / dry ear canal conditions like
mine.
Try those metal ear diggers u can buy from old chinese convenience
stores. Those are excellent. Be careful though, you'd want to coax
the hard bits out but dun scrape your ear canal skin too hard &
risk infection. Best to dig right after a hot shower. But
whatever u do, don't use cotton buds.
If it's too painful to remove, u might have to go to ENT. it's
pretty cool, they have equips that will scope right into your ear..
then u can check out all that icky gunk!!
If it's
still too painful for the doc to remove it manually, u can opt to
go to a private clinic + general anasthesia like I did many years
back for a really nasty clogged ear + infection (partially coz of
those bloody cotton buds).
Im scheduled to go for syringing at the polyclinic in a few days
time. Does it hurt?
