The Smiley bendies can be replaced by Seletar's DDs. The bendies on Seletar services can replace the de-registered Smiley bendies.

The B1 MANs showed no signs of missing either, SMB196D SMB197B still fit and running as usual though.

But I won't be surprised if those who have had their ads taken down recently or has been adless for a long time goes missing.

Given they have already marked SMB191S to replace TIB830D, There is a chance that the B1 MANs from 2011 might be replacing the volgrens.

These smiley Merc 0405s Volgrens will one by one starting their retirement from Dec 2016 anyway. They are the last non WAB rigids in the entire SMRT fleet.

Maybe it is still too early to start this thread though, unless some of these buses started their layup in depots already.

They may or may not go for refurbishment and get 2 years extension, which has a very low chance of happening considering that all of the Volgren bodied-O405 are used as Training Buses rather than being on revenue service.

I had previously raised this before, but I am doubtful that SMRT will be able to apply for official lay up from LTA given that those buses are no longer theirs (in a way)...
