DAF still can see on 925, UD on 178, Hino on 925. Volgren Mercs buses was once can be seen everyday on Woodlands, now u will see it on CCK,BBT turf.

After since 925 became under WLDEP, I hardly see any DAF. Mostly KJ's O405s, occasionally DAF. Last time it goes on an "almost daily basis"

Yeah true those 975 x 925 x-over. I miss riding on an OC. Citaro i can ride on SBST buses. I miss the Lance i took on 969, freaking fast on TPE. Miss the ELBO on 187. Miss those striders i took on 187/167/980 especially the 5xx series. Soon gonna miss the 0405s, their aircon sometime is really superb to the point i shiver hahahais

I tired of riding man. never ride OC before. board a SMRT Citaro before at Sembawang to my friend house

I rode OC on a daily basis in 2011/2012 on 858, back then 858 has almost full fleet OC, from SMB119C to SMB134H excluding 123P n 125J. Including 19H,20C,67T,69M,84T,60L to 62G. I have rode on all of these buses before. U shld try riding one on buses like 851/853 or BBT svc.

OC is a very good bus, the aircon was as cold as the 0405s one. Now OC is like a 'rare' occurence in Woodlands, last time it is daily occurence

Yes i think it was 37E, Cameo from AMDEP. Miss those OC back in WLDEP days. I dont miss Citaro coz they were perm 75 in the past.

A22 will be far more tolerable if not for their obnoxious lion hair that is a maintenance and cleaning nightmare in the making. and the few units with certain seats being removed for more 'standee space' which cant be tapped anyway, especially at the rear.

I doubt that SMRT would want to get a Volvo (imagine them sending a representative to ComfortDelgro to enquire about Volvo buses).

Perhaps SMRT could get MAN A22 with Wright Meridian bodywork, and could be assembled by Masdef in Malaysia since Masdef is now a partner of Wright. Or they could continue with Gemilang, with better seating arrangement and without the "hair" from the hybrid bodyowrk.

Though I do hope they get more OC500LEs instead. SMRT don't have much low entry buses.

Too many SLF buses? Anyway, I guess they could use SKSbus bodywork on the MANs... SKSbus interior much sturdier than Gemilang...

Dun worry im sure theres more new 12m buses as well as the high capacity buses by 2015
