If anybody asked me for which bus that has been the best
maintained, my unequivocal answer would be the VO3X, from all 3
batches.
They still feel and look and sound the same from day one, their
aircon still remains good and they are just as underpowered as
ever.
Has to be one of the most under-appreciated workhorse that gets
the least attention, kinda like the MKIII. In the earlier days of
the forum, comparisons with the LO3X have been frequent and
everyone agrees that the VO3X always have difficulties with load
and gradient. Years later, I still stand by that, but the course of
time has seen the VO3X age much more gracefully than the LOs even
if the oldest VO3X is only 2 years younger.
Agree
with you on that to a large extent, cause I still think some of the
VO3xs are still worse in their maintainance than the others in the
fleet. Cause some of the VO3xs are tuned to accelerate faster after
years on the roads, while some are still languishing under load. If
I'm the bus itself (I'm not that psycho yet to really pretend I'm a
bus though), I think i would feel alittle
underprivileged.
