When a relationship sours and is kaput, most guys who finds new directions in his life will resolve on getting their new life together again. They are only really down when they are alone in bed. If you are with them on bed, then they won't be sad also. So it is pretty hard for you to see.

The other time is when they are drunk, then maybe they will show their emo.

Though I would say how emo a male can be varies from person to person... Generally speaking... Even for a guy who have been hurt much... It would be easier to...

1. PRIORITISE things. To FOCUS ON the things which needs to be handled 1st and set 'other' things aside.... Their 'heart' might be there, but TRULY when they're SO BUSY with their BRAINS... Their 'heart' just doesn't have much share of time to be touched upon... MEN can be VERY FOCUSED when they do things..

2. THINK LOGIC. If they're seasoned enough to something.. They just have this more natural tendency to think 'mechanically'... On 'STRUCTURES' (logic) minus the 'emotions' part.. This has also got something to do with the hormones of MALES.

There is an old saying, perhaps also a bit of the generalisation: That is why there is male and female in the first place.

The male counterparts tend to rationalise more and the female counterparts tend to be more emotional. As how Dev described the males bah.
