It appears to be time for another history lesson with regards to
how the bus numbering system evolved to its present state.
As part of the mass bus service reorganisation in April 1971,
the bus numbering systems for STC and the 10 smaller Chinese bus
companies were integrated into a new standardised and shared bus
numbering system, which initially ran between 1 and 208.
