Devil1976 SG If it's true then all relationships would be destinated to end.... Does that explain why so many relationships are dying these days...? Because they believe that relationship would naturally come to a standstill after the honeymoon period and remain that way just to fade off or die off...? Is it really the 'belief' itself which is killing them
rainee SG sigh this is true... it is like every couple is expecting this to come...then when they are already in a r/s, will start to take each other for granted, then when one party make noise abt being neglected, the other party might just answer,"aiya, honeymoon period over liao ma." It is like using this as an excuse to neglect the partner
Bontakun SG I cannot decipher just from a word "Hmm..." and this . You know how to explain better than I trying to.
JerzZzzZ SG Yes, I believe that if people enter a relationship with that mindset, it's as good as hopping onto a slippery slope. If 2 persons are truly in love with each other (the si3 xin1 ta1 di4 that kind of love), every day of their lives can be a honeymoon. But of course, all these are theory.
Devil1976 SG Then they're not mature to handle a longer lasting relationship and the relationship deserves to die as it is.... By the way, a relationship depending on 'honeymoon period' alone to fuel it is just PATHETIC... Just as shallow as it is, it just doesn't really deserves to go any DEEPER...?
simpleger24 SG that is definitely an excuses... as time goes by, it is true that we might take our partner for granted... but... doesnt mean honeymoon period over liao... although 1st few month indeed is sweeter.. but thru out my 2yr plus with my FH, it like everyday is honeymoon period excluding times when we quarrel... and we shdnt expect this to come...
Sheepophile SG not really la..my parents married over 30 years liao still very loving...still go paktor.
joanne SG yes, totally believe that it's possible.. jus make believe.. my bf is so sweet. he said to me "we will be so sweet not just during the honeymoon period, i will make this last.."
ditzy SG Its very difficult to describe "honeymoon period", but I can point you to a few reference threads, read up the problems, and you get the idea.
