ddngwk SG Yes, go see a doctor. It can help u. or u can try psychologist, if u think it is possible to overcome the problem mentally. May I ask, do u have this problem since young? or something triggered it?

Devil1976 SG Why do you think it'll take over people's lives...? As suggested, find a bf who can match up.. Otherwise you might even wanna consider sex buddies if ya have to and ya think it's ok for yourself...? Do you happens to be bisexual...? Would probably makes life easier if you are...? Chances of you being sexually satisfied by another female over an extensive period in my opinion could be much higher than with another male in a general sense?
Ignatiaus SG Not a good idea. You'll be just feeding fuel to a fire. Nymphomaniacs can be insatiable in the need of sexual needs. Seeking a doctor is the best way
fudgester SG Hmmm... if you feel that it is getting in the way of your day-to-day life, then you will need proper treatment. I would recommend going to a psychologist who can properly evaluate your condition.
Devil1976 SG Are you a doctor or medical related person? If you're speaking from a professional point of view, then I say can try also... But the thing is that she already mentioned she seek doctor's consult but was of no use?

Ignatiaus SG GPs here usually don't know alot. Its mostly guess work in a white coat. She has to see a specialist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nymphomania http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/compulsive-sexual-behavior/DS00144 Its a known medical condition And its treatable with the right drugs
Cool-gal SG why n how in bisexual makes life easier for her? care to elaborate? hmmm, i tot Nymphomaniac is a female with high sex drive? correct me if im wrong..
Devil1976 SG Oh ok... If her case is really too extreme to that extent..? That's why I also feel some things can be quite debatable..? What's really a 'problem' and what's not? It seems that there're more and more 'medical conditions' which can be 'pseudo' or abusively applied these days?
Ignatiaus SG Thats right, if it becomes uncontrollable or to the point where the partner cannot fully satisfy her. Then she has to seek treatment. I guess its ok to have a usually high sex drive if the partner can accommodate it If the appetite becomes insatiable, then its a problem.
Devil1976 SG I think it's not really that uncommon that a partner might not be able to satisfy the other party...? It really should depends on while she's unsatisfied, how bad that is really affecting other aspects of her life...?
Ignatiaus SG The thing with nymphomaniacs is that you cannot measure how much they want & when they want it, it could be 9am, 3pm, 9pm or even 3am. Even with a normal very virile partner, it may not be enough even though they don't exhibits the behavior of being needy all the time. Then throughout a normal day she could have bursts of sudden impulses of lust Sometimes even leading up to sleeping with men she hardly knows. That would very well affect her life and her relationship. So to assume that the partner might be enough for her might not be even enough.
Devil1976 SG Yes, I do. My point is... She'll 1st have to find out if she's really a nymphomanic? I mean there're really quite a handful of people who think that they might have this or that medical or psychological condition when they actually don't.... Taking inappropriate actions and having inappropriate thoughts when one inappropriately self-diagnose himself / herself can have drastic effects...
