My advise to you is don't wait... While it is true that absence
makes the heart grow fonder, prolonged absence can likely dilute a
relationship. Our minds are programmed to be forward looking, thats
why memory will fade (for good reason too...). The longer you two
get separated, the less likely something will come out of this long
distance relationship...
When I went for overseas study, my batch of fellow SIngaporeans
consisted of perhaps 20 guys, half of whom have girlfriends in SG.
For the first months these guys really behave themselves... putting
their GF's pics on their dorm room walls etc. etc.... But one year
down the road, none of
these guys maintain that relationship with their GFs in SG.
So, spare yourself the heartache.
