Why not just leave the old relationship and move on? Make it a
beautiful memory, let both of you remember the good times. You know
it'll never be the same again ever even if you force fate and be
together with her against all odds.
Don't blame the other guy, the guy is just chasing her. It's her
that can make a decision anyway.
