3756 and 3788 have been doing 6. But I always observe one of the
svc 6 SD is always on other services (8497Z). Could it possibly be
a SD to DD slot upgrade or, fleet add?
Svc 6 deployments always see 6686 for SD fleet. :/
sv 6 is like JIS just that it can have loading in both
directions.
Between 5.30 and 6.30pm at Loyang Industrial estate, each DD has
standees and have 100+ pax. SDs cannot manage the load. Especially
on Loyang ave, no one can board, and have to rely on 89, 109 to go
to Pasir Ris or take 19 to Tampines or 9 to Simei.
Hence, I would not be surprised if one SD slot is converted to
DD. The downside is like JIS services, where off-peak loading in
Loyang Industrial area is v low. But again, the positive side is AM
and PM you have good loading between Pasir Ris MRT and Pasir Ris Dr
