I guess the news for the olympic is all on the little girl that
sang "ode to the motherland" during opening ceremony.
The real gal behind the voice was not featured as she have
crooked teeth and chubby face.
I hope the committee can give some credit and fairness to this
little lady for letting her sing in the closing ceremony.
There was also a piece of news that state the fireworks seen
around the bird nest stadium is computed generated and not
real.
The fireworks actually took place at the stadium, but what we
have seen on TV is a CG version due to risks while filming it live
on a helicopter.

And yea, I noticed the girl was mouthing the lyrics and I
thought they pre-recorded her voice in case something went wrong
during the live performance. It turns out that I'm partially right;
heh. It's sad in a way that a 7-year old kid had to be exposed to
such "reality" in society at a young age.
