Are you assuming the girl also loves you? For argument's sake,
let's say it is. I guess it is understandable because when you guys
get married, two people contributing income to the family household
becomes very important.
But then again, it is not an absolute to see her qualifications. If
the girl has a desire to improve herself and constantly upgrade
herself, I do not see a problem. Money is the bottomline. When the
ITE girl earns more than you or becomes more successful, I should
see the parents' trap shut up.
The most important thing is whether she likes you a lot. The rest
can then be considered later. Thus, when you guys get together, you
can evaluate your own problems together in the later stages of the
relationship and try to come up with solutions.
