Is the restaurant prospering?
How much profit?
U taking over the restaurant or co-owner?
how profit is split?
who has the biggest say?
how's the future like for the restaurant?
Do you know the operations of the restaurant well?
Knowing how to eat or cook does not necessarily makes u a good
chef/boss of a restaurant.
Are u confident that when u take over, customers will like what u
cook?
Any research done?
i think these are just a few questions u haf to consider.
If i am you, i would rather maintain the status quo. Taking on the
restaurant would mean less time spend with family and having to
forseek working in a comfortable environment, stability, bonuses
and etc.
Sometimes, a deal might sound too goot to miss. But if u think from
another angle, if i am a boss of a restaurant and the restaurant is
doing so well, i wouldn't be so likely to share the profit with
someone.
But anyway, if u are really interested and willing to take a risk,
i would say go for it. U might make it (but similarly, be prepared
for losses and do calculate how much losses u can afford to make if
u go for it)
Goot luck!
