is henry criticism harsh?

i dont know i just feel sorry for henry,leaving arsenal,go barcelona play somewhat a winger position,can score 12 goals in 30 matches for barcelona + some assists is very good already. people have been saying that he was once a winger but come on la that was how many years ago stuff already.

some arsenal fans also,when henry leaves everyone call him a traitor,then when arsenal is getting result they say its cuz of henry departure that other strikers can shine,then when they facing crisis they start calling henry traitor again,like wth lar.

then italy against france this morning too,i read the news paper,and one guy bombard henry,saying he isnt his usual self cause he misses his trademark goal,im like "hey play soccer will miss one right?".

besides if henry is like shit then how about the rest of the france? he scored the only goal for france throughout the whole euro 2008,so they are trying to say people like,ribery,benzema like shit lar? then why clubs like liverpool,man utd still want to buy?

im not a super big fan of henry or france lar,i support england anyway if u wanna ask,i just think that the media are too harsh on him already,dont you guys think so?

the media is always like tat 1 le..

no matter hw gd u are, jus b'cos of 1 mistake/miss in goal..

the nx morning sure "suan" tat particular person jialat jialat..

anyway on the overall, Henry is really not at his usual self le..

i tink its due to the winger position tat he played in Barca tat resulted to this..

as thur'out the La Liga campaign, he has been a winger for mths..

so i tink more/less his usual killing instinct is not at the tip-top condition ardy..

as being a winger & a striker play a very different role le..

so in short, Frank Rijkaard contributed to Henry poor form..haa

i have a French colleague who's been cursing at his national team the whole morning. he feels Henry is the only one running and trying to score during last night's match, the rest of the players according to him are no more than crap.

and when he got really pissed during our tea break, he started using all the colorful curse words that i had never heard before.

on the contrary, i personally felt that he tried too hard, like he always did at Arsenal. When he has the captain armband, he really takes the responsibilities of the whole team on his shoulders. Sometimes, he is oblivious of the rest of the team.

tactically, i also felt Raymond Domenech made some bad moves, like the initial exclusion of Trezeguet...

and they couldn't make full use of Evra's overlap....or maybe i'm Man U fan speaking up for players.

on the whole, a French nightmare.

Indeed we expected too much from Henry. However, he is a world class player so naturally people expect much more from him consistently.
