i started asking her out and have always been the one doing it. she inititaed contact in person abt a week ago, after that we spoke on the phone and thru SMS. (the stuff she said convinced me that she wants to be frens at least!) i dun get to see her in person anymore unless she finally decides to meet up but shes ignoring my requests to go out. (still replies to mundane stuff)

whats happening man. at first i thought i was bugging her too much asking her out so i backed off when she started ignoring me. but she never got back to me abt meeting up...what gives?

Either she got scared off and decided not to continue contact with you (not a really valid reason because she initiated contact, unless she's a really shy person) or I think she lost interest in you. My guess is she's only interested in playing around a bit with you. You can give her a bit of time and see if she comes back, or you can just give up, just treat her as a normal friend and see how things turn out.

but one thing i would like to tell you is that blowing hot and cold is not a good sign... it's like her interest is wavering up and down... what you really want is consistency

you know what's your mistake? you are coming off too fast onto her. she is giving u a chance but she wants to take it slow or she doesnt want to go out with u to begin with... which means she has no interest in u in the first place...Until she calls to ask you out, you remain silent guy.

and she thinks you are trying to date her when u asked her out that's why! but that's her fault

and trying to confront her shows you are too eager for her answer... you gotta take it easy guy... show like you dun really give a hoot... since she started it she shd end it by initiating contact with you first...

if ur really are dying to call and ask her better not do it on the phone... ask her face to face if u happen to bump onto her and of course naturally and sincerely... if she doesnt seem to let u know what really happened... then dun push it further... let it be...

It's like this.

Last night when I was watching football,EPL, around 1200++, she msg me to ask me where is the nearest vet around her area 'cos her dog is quite sick.

I replied abt 1 plus, asked her about hows the dog, is he eating, can she wait till morning, is it serious, etc.

By that time I replied back she was already asleep, I guess. This morning 7 plus she replied her dog has passed away.

I still don't have the flow of the conversation to ask her anything else 'cos right now (I'm waiting for her sms reply) I'm trying to console her before her classes starts.

I know this is not a good sign but I really care about her and hope she's not too upset about her dog. Actually the truth is both of us are sad cos she has the cutest dog she cant stop raving about and I love dogs.

Her dad has made arrangements to have a funeral, dispose, arrangements, etc.

So far I had not asked her any useful questions about from the details of her dog's death, did she take breakfast.

Any advice? Confused

At her sch? By the time I finish work it's too late. I definitely dun want to wait at her block's void deck for her. It's scary to her and it's time wasting for me.

Now main prob is very hard to phrase out or ask questions I want... seems like a very sensitive stage now

Maybe. I want to believe this also.

But she tell me only Sat someone accidentally kicked her dog (she was describing how it happened by sms). Then the dog start to vomit, cant stand properly, etc.

Where was her the entire week? Only she herself knows.

I cant ask her outright 'cos I'm just a friend. But when she 'returns' after MIA she acts as if nothing has happened, the same bubbly voice, same giggle, same.. everything.

Has she stepped inside a time warp or something? I was so freaking worried for her...

dun get too emotionally involved with her yet. jus treat her as a friend. dun analyse too much.

do u really love her? if so, u may want to ask her out. This will see if she really likes u and not treat u as a friend only. She may jus be playing with u only.

remember, girls in love will not confuse you or make u feel bad.

for me it turns out shes not really interested in me. in fact, she dun give a fark what happens to me at all!

funny thing is shes still able to have sms marathons with me despite all that. i can never get gals. Rolling Eyes

I've met her this afternoon.

Still the same, cute as ever, even apologised for the missed calls and unanswered sms. But didnt say what happened...

We were in orchard, meeting for coffee, and joking how I wasted 5 cents on her, mainly discussing about our mutal friends and her getting a new dog... Rolling Eyes

Suddenly She looks at me seriously and says:

'You make a good bf 'cos you can listen, joke around, nice to go out with.'

When I was stunned for that nanosecond, she stands, and says

'lets go. I have tuition at 6.'

When prompted how she would make a great gf,

she says she just want to focus on her studies first, and see what happens.

I'm guessing this is an in-direct rejection
