Govt alr announced every estate muz have a mrt station that requires 10min or less to walk there, right now still got a number of towns needing a MRT station already.. Eg Lorong Ah Soo, Rumah Tinggi, Defu Lane etc

Seems that the P variants are for feeders/TownLinks only?

I think you need to see Punggol town plan. You will see that both Edgefield plains and Edgedale plains meet Semi-expressway. Also go to Edgefield plains and you will see Waterway Banks is on one side and there is another BTO on the right. No need to go through BTO complex. The road is there right till the end. Cheers!

Hi mr busanalyser, ok sorry yes it is connected to semi-expressway by slip roads at edgedale plains and edgefield plains. The semi-expressway is also connected at current Punggol rd and Punggol east. Edgefield and edgedale plains rd seem to be elevated and the semi-expressway seems to be below both edgefield and edgedale plains. If going by such road structures, need at least 3 more services to go all the way inside. Furthermore the edgedale and edgefield plains seem certain to get extended even further up more. Cheers!

I guess BB and JE wil be just one service

I got the feel the BB service will be something like the old SS3 running from Bt Batok to Jurong East... LTA now like to use one stone kills two birds.

Hi mr phillip, BB and JE will be 2 services definitely. Currently there are 24 routes to be tendered plus the 2 new services from BB and JE to make it the 26 routes parcels to be tendered out. Cheers.

Hi mr Philip, no. 285P is not considered one route. P service and new service are different. Anyway 285 is from clementi. Clementi is not jurong east and bukit batok. Cheers.

811P seems legit... With the frequency of the current 811... This is worth it, I hope so...
812P... Is there even load for passengers going Chong Pang? I boarded 812 before from Chong Pang CC usually maybe the waiting time too long but got alternative 800 to Int...

not redundant, but seeing as SMRT's Bus Plus fleet, midi buses unless there are some PA lances that Bus Plus may use.

I would say 811 and 812 both need it.. but they should each have got more high capacity buses from SMRT... I don't know what kind of PPSS buses will be used.. they are so below standard... that most ppl refuse to take it unless pushed to take it.

Go observe at Tampines Int for 291/293 - you will know what I am saying.

812 has pretty high loading and very bad frequency. 800 is better but then is long winding to get to MRT.

268P still cannot get people to board from AMK MRT... what are they thinking while introducing 265P now? Basically, with this, they are allowing big PTOs to get away with sloppy services and frequencies in PM? Whatever happened to the bus monitoring system they had launched??? To make sure buses come on time (even forgot what it was called now).

Its called 'eyewash'. to show public how much they are doing. still to see this year some great initiative from lta side. was so happy when 50/972 were launched. thought we will see more such nice routes. but no!

So which feeder bus services have sloppy frequencies during PM? What is your ideal frequency for feeder during AM/PM peak? 3 mins one bus and must deploy DD for each bus?

it is a pity that you did not work at the LTA Bus planning dept.. You should go and get a job there... We will be grateful for all the med to long haul routes that you will introduce if you are working in LTA.

this job is good for you.. but maybe pay too low for you.
