u mean 357 to pasir ris grove?

they mention 164 and 357 is comfirmed to be launched next time ?

then for 164 is from punggol to which areas?

Sbs6750E SG

164 either to Tampines or Sengkang West.

I guess this new feeder route is only temporary. In future when Tampines North is developed, it may be re-routed to Tampines. ......

Actually, it makes more sense to have it at Tampines. The route can ply along Tampines Avenue 12 and Tampines Concourse, loop at Pasir Ris Grove. ... length would be around 6km. well, since now Pasir Ris Grove not constructed yet, maybe can let it go to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange for the time being. next time then re-route to loop at Pasir Ris Grove and return to Tampines.

can try to add a new pair of bus stop along Pasir Ris Drive 8... maybe somewhere near blk 524A and blk 524B... if want, can construct new pedestrain overhead bridge with ramp at Pasir Ris Drive 8, since that road is kinda like semi-expressway; dangerous to cross the road to Coasta Ris BTO.(yeah, also interim. next time when a traffic light junction is build can take away already.)

Pasir Ris feeder should be extremely small for Pasir Ris Grove that needs a service because of huge # of condominiums constructed and operational in 2015

Pasir Ris Interchange >> Pasir Ris Dr 3 (express) >> Pasir Ris St 52 (existing, new stop @blk 572) >> Pasir Ris Grove (Opp NV Residences, Bef Pasir Ris Dr 8) >> Pasir Ris Dr 1 >> Pasir Ris St 52 >> Pasir Ris Dr 3 (express) >> Pasir Ris Interchange

# buses = 2 A/P, 1 S = 3 buses (Citaros)

Actually Pasir Ris grove is within walking distance to PSR Mrt. Somehow I feel it would be better if it was a short trunk from Tampines looping at PSR grove.

All, Kupang LRT on sengkang west loop will be opened on 27 June. This shows LTA is starting to implement changes with fast actions. Firstly, sbs 85 with some single deck changed to double deck from 22 June. Secondly, Kupang LRT will open 5 days later. Expect more coming up for sengkang west. Cheers

I strongly feel its either terminate at BPJ or CCK

AJQZC SG

So that makes 85 the first SBST service with DDs at Yishun Int?

Quite anti-climatic.

Ajen SG

i hope its CCK via SLE BKE KJE.

AJQZC SG

A bit doubtful for CCK, with its jam-packed interchange right now. Unless they extend some regional services to Bt Panjang (such as 983) to free up the space, which doesn't seem likely yet when 164 is introduced.

Bt Batok sounds a little too far distance-wise already. Still possible for Bt Panjang.

39 alr have DDs, now 85, soon followed by 103.

Apart from existing Bus stops staggered, Have anyone seen red/white plates introduced on 11, 103 or 386 to indicate which bus the direction is heading(Towards) (E.g. Tanjong Rhu/Yishun)?

11, 103 full fleet have

386 need wait for final route confirmation first

carbikebus SG

Notice SBST like to have service which ply same route twice eg using plates to differentiate..

Notice SBST like to have service which ply same route twice eg using plates to differentiate..

I think only those that calls at specific bus stops in both directions (such at 155 plying MacPherson estate twice in its route and buses serving St. Michael's calling Jln Bahagia bus stops in both directions) need the plates to differentiate. I find no reason for 11, 103 and 386 to use them when the bus stops were already differentiated themselves.

TIB1112L SG

11 and 103 has them to reduce confusion. Based on experience, 11 first day of extension many ppl board wrong side until they had to make temporary blue and orange desto which was removed after that. After few months then red and white desto was launched

iveco SG

173 does staggered stops in Hillview area but no problem so far.

carbikebus SG

49 also have..Now 142 also wanna start..It will be disaster if the BCs forgot to flip the plate

SBS5010P SG

Tbh the EDS shows the destination clearly only looping svcs need them

Like eg > Yishun Temp Int / > Serangoon is clear enough..
