dupdup77 SG All, there is no announcement of free rides on sbs 117 and sbs 118 on the first day tomorrow yet. Think they are going to start collecting revenue fares from Day 1. dupdup77 SG Surprisingly 47's frequency is much better than 117/118...Hi mr array88, not surprised. Sbs 47 goes through densely populated areas. Sbs 117 route is quite sparsely populated in the middle, except for Punggol, khatib, yishun and sembawang. Shocked to see sembawang interchange also has empty spaces and berths just now. Cheers. shellstation SG Svc 118 will be booming once poly holidays are over. Expect svc 27, 34 and 168's loadings to decrease slightly. Currently a lot of students from Woodlands, Yishun, Sengkang and Punggol take these buses and transfer to 15/23/69.
Acx1688 SG add on, 47's passengers will increase when more pple use it fr Katong SC, Holy Fam bus stops use it to ret to M Parade area, quite sim to CSS608
dupdup77 SG Not just that ITE also.Hi mr Gemsdare, it is ironic that it takes so long to get another bus service to relieve the student load for ITE. Hope with sbs 118 introduction, we can see loading for Sbs 31A being reduced although the routes are different. Should have some spill over effect. Cheers. Thanks.
array88 SG No DDs? I thought there would be a few.. I saw like 2 DDs today on 47... Majority SD.117 is a mix of SD and DD in about 1:1 ratio.118 is almost full fleet DD. Only saw one SD if I'm not wrong. Later I'll check my photos to see the fleet.
