I did heard rumours about 861,Could it be the Yishun svc?

Yishun will be getting a trunk service or a feeder service? If it is a trunk service, I wonder how the route will go.

My personal guess would be another 860-like "Trunk" which is actually a feeder so that they can charge trunk fares and filled totally with A22's.

I wonder why must Yishun? Can always start from Sembawang via Yishun and loop around Yishun Ave 1?

Hi mr carbikebus, Sembawang is just like the forgotten town in the north. Woodlands and yishun have so many services. But no choice! Need give to yishun due to many new HDB flats currently being built. Cheers. Thanks.

news just came in by CNA

new service serving eunos, marine parade & yishun by march

Hi mr azharjj, so the authorities are on track to release 80 new/extended bus routes by end yr 2016. Let's look forward to eunos, marine parade and yishun in Q1 2016. Cheers. Thanks.

what if it's a yishun - eunos - mp service? just hoping though chances are rare...like 966

I just hope that Yishun will be a new bus service that goes to Yishun Street 51 because of the weaker and lousier connectivity. Eunos and Marine Parade - do include Haig Road as well or Meyer Road as well, in order to go to Kallang Wave roadside bus terminal.

AJQZC SG

Solution: extend some trunk services to Sembawang. Leave Yishun for its feeders and intra-towns.

And don't bother about the (re)numbering.

array88 SG

guess only 2 services... eunos to marine parade? 13M? or 15M?

M variants are not counted as new services...

Although technically this is possible considering the press release did not specify the number of new services, I don't think it's gonna happen... Compared to some long-distance services such as 47, 117 and 118 that were just introduced, this Yishun - Eunos - MP service is not that unique and LTA probably will ask commuters to take MRT or parallel services (e.g. 854).

To be honest for Yishun extend 859 to loop in town can alr

859's fleet and demand makes it unsuitable to serve as an inter-town feeder.

What Yishun town needs is for more routes to connect Khatib MRT and the interior, so as to reduce the crowd at Yishun MRT / Int. That means fully utilizing the trunk routes at Khatib.

carbikebus SG

47 consider long distance ah?

carbikebus SG

Need a trunk that supplement 169 from Yishun MRT to Sembawang Rd tii Admiralty there.

Sorry... this is my proposal.
