They will not track you unless if they think it's necessary for them to do so (e.g. they feel that you're going to commit suicide soon, cause material damage, etc). Otherwise, trying to track you down will eat up their time and resources with no real benefit to them.

Heck, you can post your thoughts here, and no one can track you down so long as you don't post your contact info (which I suppose you won't).

Why not seek professional councelling? They have ethnics NOT to disclose personal particulars of clients to anyone and their main focus is to help you see where your problem lies and what can you do about it.

Which hotline are you referring to...?

I think it's more important for you to have someone to talk to than worry about whether they're going to track you or not...?

It's VERY UNLIKELY that they would even want to go to that extent of tracing you... You think they so free ar...?

if you seek help with hotline, they will allow you to remain anonymous. Things are kept confidential between callers and the helpdesk.
They will try and counsel you, and if needed, advise you to contact them personally.

The purpose of hotline is to help people in distress, and allow them to have the privacy to talk to people without exposing their identity.

HOWEVER, if you are in trouble, dont hesistate to seek help from them..
