Unless you want to take a gamble. You'll never lose because they
take your better grade.
I got a C6 for my first attempt. I signed up for a 2nd try (when
everyone told me not to because I won't do any better). I wasn't
going to prove them wrong though, because I never picked up any of
the chinese books to revise or anything. I got a B4 finally. So in
my case, I went up 2 grades and it still didn't affect my other
subjects.
But, if you are the type that goes crazy before every paper... then
maybe you shouldn't. Unnecessary stress isn't what you need during
the o lvls.
