Ippt woes

Hey guys, i just failed my recent ippt attempt. However, as i just graduated, i would assume that i would still be in the IHL list (Higher learning) which ‘protects’ u from RT. However, my dilemma is that i convocated only during july and i took my ippt in august. Does that mean i’m not longer under the IHL list and would be vulnerable to RT now?.Anyone care to enlighten?..does the IHL list protect u for the whole year?

anyway, as far as i know, you fail IPPT, sure go RT regardless of what educational level u r.....

Call unit and ask if you're eligible for IPPT/RT this workyear, they can check. I'm not sure if your IHL deferment thingy last for the entire workyear, or only until you graduate. I suspect it's for the entire workyear, though.

Anyway, you can arrange for another IPPT and try to pass. =)

Seriously, avoiding the issue is not the answer. The point is that you cannot pass IPPT and you are liable to pass it every year. I suggest you train up and make sure you can pass IPPT.

Or you go downgrade.

Best to go re-take if you think that you usually can pass.

Are you called up to a unit yet?
If not, then you are still in IHL. Army doesn't process your status change so fast, unless they have change their system.

The army din change my status until almost one year after I graduated

So as long as you are in IHL, that I believe you are protected from RT

yupz i have a unit already….but last yr when i was in IHL they only said need to attempt no need pass. But now that i have graduated, not sure man..might have rt hm.
