Personally, I feel annoyed that sometimes, the Route Suggestions
thread is diluted with the spam replies that only have
destinations. We tell him how many times already, yet he still do.
Otherwise, I have nothing against this user.
I feel that the "Did You Know" thread and related threads (eg.
"past bus routes..." and "How to get there...") has been quite
off-topic and not relevant, even before this user appeared
here.
Personally, I feel that the "Barrier Of Entry" in this forum is
quite high. Discussions seems limited to the people who has access
to information that are usually restricted, and the people who
really have the time (to waste) on recording buses.
Nonetheless, I agree that flooding threads (eg. with cameo
spottings) is not acceptable.
possible Solution:
users like Mr Path Light should understand the purpose of
discussion forums, and how to have conversations.
Suggestion: Forums like SGforums should have a tab or something,
to educate people on Communication, for Personal and Team
effectiveness.
(actually, this suggestion is more for Special-Needs school)
