At the request of member dupdup77, on behalf of member BusAnalayzer and for every member of the SGforums family, I created this thread.

This thread serves as a sequel to the thread "Capacity Upgrade/Downgrade Reporting on Bus Services" that has reached the limit of two thousand posts permitted in a thread at forum "Singapore Buses".

To start the ball rolling, let me share with you a sighting I witnessed today.

Just now, at around 7:30am, I was at MRT Pioneer Station and for the second time, I saw a single decker bus on bus service 256. It was a Scania KUB bus.

On Monday, at around 8:30am, I saw a Mercedes-Benz Citaro bus on bus service 256 at MRT Pioneer Station.

With two sightings of single decker buses on bus service 256, I am almost certain that the capacity on bus service 256 has been downgraded from double decker buses to single decker buses, at least during morning peak period.

At least one more sighting required before I can be absolutely sure there is a downgrade of capacity in bus service 256 during morning peak period.
