Don't gamble is good, but investing in shares is different from
gambling in some sense. Investing is one of the few venues where
you can have your money beat inflation, but obviously if you dunno
what you're doing, investing is similar to gambling, but if you
know what/why you're investing in, then it's all good. What people
dun realize is that when they put money in the bank is also an
investment. It is a very safe investment and earns you tiny
interests, but there is still a minor chance to lose all that
investments when the bank fails which has happened before, so I
wouldn't dare say it won't happen again. I also think it's unfair
to a certain extent when you categorize all singaporean men
together. To solve a problem that we have always faced over and
over again, sometimes, it requires a change of actions and
thinking. If you put in the same input, and you keep getting the
same output, maybe it's time you change the input so that you may
finally get a different output? I mean from the way it seems,
putting the blame on men will only tell yourself that you can't
change the situation, you're refusing to take control of the
situation, so if you are not in control, how do you expect the
situation to change? If you come to a road driving a car, this same
road always have a rock blocking in the middle of the road, so you
drive around the rock and curse at the rock, chances are the next
time you come across this road, you're going to curse the rock
again. Do you think something may change if one day you decide
despite it not being your problem, but you will push the rock to
the side?
