although i am not a ite grad, but my brother is.
answer to your questions:
1) it is easy to get high grades if your studying something that
you really have interest in.
2) my brother didn't have cca nor did he use cca to get into poly,
not having any cca doesn't really decreases your chances of getting
into poly, the thing that reduces your chance to get into poly from
ite is the choice of course that you choose to study in, if its a
popular course among those students graduated from secondary going
into poly, then it will affect in a way la.
3) not true on forgetting the stuff that you learnt in ite.
my elder brother actually went into army, serve finish the
liability before going into poly. It was easy to get into poly, but
now, his back in ITE just that it's higher Nitec, as he dropped out
of poly due to inability to handle the course that he took up in
poly
