You get a $400 wallet, and you grumble.
I get a $15 wallet from my brother, and I'm grateful for his
getting me a replacement for my old, worn-out wallet.
I get $50 cash from my dad, and I'm grateful to him for it pays for
my lunch and dinner for a full week.
And before you say it, I'm a student who pays for pretty much
everything. Food, transport, handphone bills, lecture notes, etc -
all that comes out of my $15 wallet. I have to support myself by
giving tuition several times a week.
Still, I feel grateful, for there are poor kids out there who don't
get so much as a 'Happy Birthday' by their dad who's in prison and
their mum who's in rehab.
What an insensitive rant by the threadstarter. +1.
