SMB8025L was used on Monday afternoon which I heard LTA insisted
to do the test at each terminals, driven by one of the 960 senior
BCs.
T3 seems alright for the bendy to turn, but problem is the
length of the berths bef & aft the zebra-crossing. Saw the
bendy resting at 27/53/36 berth with group of staffs from
LTA/SMRT/CAG to see what & where to improve. Photographs were
also taken as documentation purposes.
T1 wise, might need to rearrange or reposition 858 berth if
that's what they were considering about.
T2 resting/crossover bays for 858 buses bef & aft the berth
were seen tested and bendy was able to fit in just right. However,
few problems arised as to few situations. For instance, if the
bendy were to do crossover or park at the crossover bay, the rear
section would be exposed largely, creating higher chance of
sideswipe incident or blocking other SBST buses. The team were
possibly looking into improving the length of the berth,
modification to the crossover bays or rearrangement for 858
berth.
