actually, if FireIce wanted to lock this thread, she would have
already done so four hours ago. Instead, she replied to my posts.
This probably means that she likes the idea of having a confessions
page (thread) in this forum.
Actually, think about it. Looking at the confession pages on
Facebook and Twitter, a confessions page (thread) in the forum has
the potential of generating high volumes of new replies every
week.
The bus commuters can comment on their bus rides and
experiences, while the bus drivers can comment on theirs. In a way,
this can create a fun environment to express ourselves and
understand one another better. :)
We can also write about how clean or dirty the bus is, among
other possibilities. The possibilities are endless.
There's so much to write about in a confessions page (thread).
If this is well-received, this thread could be an icon of SGforums
bus forum and attract new users to join SGforums bus forum.
If you didn't notice, the confession pages on Facebook and
Twitter (?) are moderated by one person (or small committee), with
submitted anonymous entries.
We don't really have that here, all posts are logged to our
accounts, and pretty many of us may know each other in some way
offline / in real life. This decreases the willingness for us to
share some of our so-called secrets, or "confessions".
FireIce said she wouldn't want to operate such a "Confessions"
thread. Tamago isn't frequently online. If we were to nominate
someone else from the forum to manage submission entries, there may
be trust issues involved.
This is just my own comment on your initiative. I am neither in
favour of nor against it.
