Dear all,
several points made by the threadstarter are biased, in a way to
make her the damsel in distress.
Firstly, it may seem that everything is just focused on her bf and
that girl-friend of his where as in fact it's the threadstarter's
own judgement to do so. (This statement will be labelled by her as
"[b]He always say that I choose to be ...sad, sensitive,
etc.)
--->Because it is always put to me that way. How else do
I see it?And come on, he does say that about me. Unless he has bad
memory.
Whatever experienced by the threadstarter regarding the girl's
action towards her boyfriend is felt by atleast 3 other couples
too, but somehow the other girlfriends are not complaining.
--->Never make a statement like that until you hear what
the other girls have to say to me. And they have no idea how I feel
the same.
Only the threadstarter's boyfriend gets it and even after
repeated
explanation and adviced to view from different prospectives, the
results are the same.
--->If ("use ur common sense la!! Shes only joking!!!" +
Attitude) constitutes an explanation, I'd rather not have
one.
As mentioned by the threadstarter, everything seems to be "That
girl and Threadstarter's boyfriend this, that, etc" but the fact is
many others are involved as well. One such example would be "Oh, me
and him did blah blah blah in Langkawi". As the girl was relating
past events of the threadstarter's boyfriend to the threadstarter,
the girl and the threadstarter's boyfriend always appear together
in the statement. It may be tactless as she could have included
more people.
--> "MAY BE"? Gosh you do give her alot of
credit.
Probably due to the lack of trust, self-esteem or whatever there
is, the threadstarter got threatened by the obsessive use of 'him
and i" doing practically everything but the truth is others are
involved as well and it's really understood.
--->If it IS understood, she should be within the pple
who understand, why is she still putting it that way to me?
Obviously she's either deaf, stupid, or simply understands but
prefers the resolution of placing my bf and her in the same
situation. Just both of them.
Just tell that damn girl off if you feel you're in the right. I do
not know how you came to the conclusion that everyone will go
against you, even your boyfriend,
---> Because there was never a time nobody ever stood by
her. Everyone was there when she played around, tickled, while the
girls tried to maintain a smile, she was having the time of her
life telling me this and that happily. And my bf just kept quiet.
Nobody told her, down! Bad doggie! But my bf tells me
that.
unless there is really something wrong about what you're doing. Why
do you have to be so submissive into accepting, or rather letting
the statement about acting cute affect you.
--->Nope. It affects HER. The idea of ostracising
someone because they dont respond to your kawaii-ness is something
only she can think of. She has completely gossiped about all the
girls to all the girls behind all the girls' backs. Apart from her
best friend who is overseas at the moment, we're all she has for
the time being.
We're not a bunch of bengs and lians that pledge our allegiance to
kawaii neh neh pok crap. The other guys initially couldn't stand
even the slightest action or sound emitted from that girl. Over the
time we just either ignore it, or just play along. I do not see why
you have to get so upset over it.
--->Its ok. Dont you get it? Im okay with my bf playing
around with her. However, when it goes so far as to her grabbing
his butt when we're all playing in the water in Sentosa, lying on
his tummy inSentosa on top of that float thing, seeing the picture
of his dick and COMMENTING about it in such a matter-of-fact way,
don't you think I would happen to be NOT okay?
I'm just going to say this one final time. I do not care if that
girl is there or not. She is insignificant to me. What annoys me
the most is that someone of no importance is making my life
difficult. Stop making it sound as though I need her around. It's
her bf that I'm concerned about. I do not care who care sing, bake,
draw, etc. I appreciate whatever you do
--->If what I do was appreciated by my bf, he wouldn't
just throw my presents around or leave them there to collect dust.
If he can display his ex girlfriend's toys in his car, use the
things that girl gives him, then my taste really really sucks.
Probably its my choices, ugh.
so wake up your idea and stop the perpertual comparison.
--->Bro, you better wake up YOUR idea. You should know.
When I first got with my bf, I have never compared anything until I
was being repeatedly told at how pretty his ex is and how lucky my
bf was to have her more than to have me etc etc. it goes on. I
always thought of his ex as an ordinary cheena looking girl with
weird teeth, but because of what that girl keeps saying on and on
and on, what could have been nice reminiscing about the past turns
into a comparison. It is not my nature to compare unless I am being
told over and over again that I was the lesser
being.
If winning means so much, them stop drowning in your
self-pity.
--->Self-pity? nobody gave you the URL of this thread to
come and judge me. You have judged me this entire post and for her,
shes just MAYBE tactless. That's pretty biased. On your side. Since
I didnt start this, it was triggered by her incessant blah blah
blah blah until a small thing can become so huge because what she
said has already grown on me, and I begin to associate what she
says with almost everything I do. This is why Im tripping all over
myself these days and making stupid mistakes.
Stop all your assumptions and stand up for yourself if not this
will never end. And work on your trust. Your imagination runs
negatively wild; your bf messaging other girls? flirting behind
your back?. Saying you trust someone yet feeling this way? This is
just going to annoy someone more...
--->Im not the one with trust issues. My bf is. Hes
afraid that I will take advantage of him again or something so he
just becomes a jerk towards me when i feel blue. He began to hide
things from me too, so what am I supposed to trust? His balls? And
for your information he has developed a habit of promising me
things he can't fulfill. Giving me hope and then taking it away and
expecting me to be okay with it is damn ridiculous, although I do
try at times to keep my cool and pretend its nothing when it
actually meant the whole world to me. not just the engagement part,
the promise that he would try also to make us happy. What do you
think I run here, a one man show?
:::He had many chances to intervene but it simply never occured to
him that it would have an effect on me. Its ok, at least now I see
that he is naturally like that. I've already made it clear i hate
people to mian chiang for me. But Gwensilvz, do have a good long
think and ponder over your own actions as to how you have
contributed to make MY life easier.
BTW, she can't stop talking about how shes passed her driving test
just like my bf, cant stop talking about her and him being utterly
similar. I mean, if I already shown her that it had fallen on deaf
ears already in the past, why does she keep on going at me until
now? Its like propaganda. You read and hear it often enough, you'll
believe it, especially when your own bf isn't there to tell u
otherwise.
I could put up with her, as long as I know he's by my side and he
doesn't think that way. He thinks his life's miserable? And mine
isn't?
