Jamie Zawinski SG you can have a max of 14 under USGA and PGA rules. the standard set usually consists of a driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 3 iron to 9 iron, chipping wedge, sand wedge, putter, and a hybrid/rescue club
mortified SG haha, thanks guys, for giving me all the help. The truth is, i did get a new adult set of golf clubs at exactly $200. its the brand maxfli. though its not a very famous brand, but i'm practicing hard with it, and when i'm ready, i'll be purchasing the graphite type
mortified SG i couldn't agree more, i just got a cheap yet good set first, hone up all my skills then take better ones like graphite
Saltiga SG graphite or steel shaft doesn't makes the differences between good and not so good set.. its more how balance and how it suits the way it plays that will determine how good a set of clubs are.. for me, i can't play well on a graphite set, steel does suit my game better.. opinion defers thou..
mortified SG haha, maybe its because i've never used a graphite 1 before thats why I actually thought graphite was the better 1
Pitot SG its a shop. but they dont have fixed stock, if have means have, dont have means dont have. since u bought already, play until you feel that its time for you to upgrade la. Get some advice from friends around you who are golfers too.
Saltiga SG there are always some nice discounted set ard if you look hard enough, place like golfer’s network at times sell their Taylormade iron 6 pcs (5-9 & PW plus bag) set at pretty reasonable pricing.. or you can go at ebay or yahoo auctions too..
Saltiga SG graphite is pretty nice to play but for me and my game its just alittle bit on the softer side but then again it might allow better feel for the club head.. try both if you have kakis playing and feel for yourself whats better for you.. anyway, 1 set is never enough
JLennon SG I believe there are also cheap clubs with graphite shafts but what the heck, get a set of clubs and start practising. Just get your swing in order before moving on to a better set. I sometimes marvel at how beginners spend heaps of money to buy a set of 5-star Honma clubs and cannot execute a decent swing.
Jamie Zawinski SG anyone catched the hsbc women's championship held at tanah merah country club? no wonder ppl criticised us ... so much focus on the top golfers and not a single article on our sole rep amelia.
