hi i am just back from bbq

Well its not as bad as i expected although i have some nervous moments

i managed to talk to this 2 gals, but i guess its because i know 1 of them before...

then there was this guy, although he was my previous classmate, i still couldnt strike a conversation...here were often quiet moments between me and him .When he ask me something, sometimes i have to ask him to repeat a few times cause i couldnt get it..Its pretty obvious that hes quite irritated with me..

but other than that, i guess its ok ba not as bad as i expected although i slutter at times Crying or Very sad

thks for all your comments.... i got a ex school friend whos planning a lunch gathering next weekend..though i havent see most of my ex schoolmates for long time, i guess i should go ba Smile

yup sometimes its quite depressing too..when ppl could not understand you and think you are antisocial or someone who is odd..

actually i am thinking i have this kind of behaviour cause i lack self confidence..My physical appearance is something that i hate, i sometimes couldnt bear to see myself in mirror cause i am simply too ugly and wads more i have thinning hair Crying or Very sad

Physical appearance is something very important when ppl decide who to be with..Thats the exact reason why i have few friends..

Apperance isn't much of a issue here but I won't say appearence won't stop people from apporaching you. As long as you dress decently people will make friends with you that is if you look apporachable. Poses like folding arms will make people think that they shouldn't apporach you.

You might think you are ugly but to some other people you might look ok. However what you need to do most is change you mindset that you are ugly, to one that you think that you are just like any other people in terms of looks. And if you think you are still ugly you need a makeover.

Used to be like you too, any gathering more than 5 person which i dunno. i won't try to avoid it, giving lot of excuse just not to attend. Really reason is paiseh to attend. But after giving some thought, i can't be running away from it forever. If not how i go out to work in the future.

Try to go there and have fun, if u dun feel like taking, just keep quiet there and listen to what they are talking. After a few more such gathering, u will get used to it le.

I am quite unsurprised to see such posts.

teenagers nowsdays tend to hide behind their HP or messengers where they can bare everything. ask them for a social event and they just clamp up.

I believe these SMS and messengers are clamping the conversational and socials skills that are needed later in their life for business or job purposes.

No job interviews will be conducted via messengers or SMS, so I do encouraged all teenagers to go out once in a while, feel the sun, and learn how to communicate with each others. And to communicate without the lingos or the Singaporean slangs. Try to do it.

And when you are behind your HP or messengers, do whatever you like.

or else, sooner not later, teenagers will all just know how to say three words " i txt you" when you ask them anything.
