There is never a 100% guarantee in life. There's 1 song which
comes to mind when talking about these things, "Only Time" by

Love is the same. We can never tell when things will sour, when
things won't work out, etc. But we can HOPE. That's what makes life
& love so interesting. We CAN give it our best shot, we CAN
make our partners the top priority in our lives, we CAN give them
the best we're able to give, & we HOPE that they'll feel the
same towards us.
We KNOW he/she is The One when we're able to be ourselves, to fart
& dig nose openly in front of them, knowing we'll still be
accepted despite our ugliness, they won't puke when our noses are
filled with snot, they won't wanna run when we throw up from
stomach flu. We KNOW they'll be around to support us when we're
feeling down, & they'll still be around even if we have the
occasional unreasonable moment, & vice versa.
Then, after we KNOW, we HOPE that this connection lasts a lifetime
& they're happy.
