My apologies if I misleaded anyone, but the road tax details for
those buses reflected as 'Road tax will not be renewed by GIRO this
round. Please use other renewal channels.' This means that SMRT can
use other methods of payment to pay the road tax other than GIRO,
but in many past cases (like the Toyota Coasters and O405s), they
are signs of impending lay up of buses, it is only this time round
only one bus will be laid up from each road tax expiring batch
while the others will have their road tax renewed.
