Am i making use of my friends?

I have got many friends who are quite close to me.. in the past..

ever since i got retained in sec3.. i lost contact with many of my close friends.. or rather i chose not to contact them.. i find it really a hassle having to meet them and stuff..

recently i'm kinda troubled over many things.. i wanna talk to my friends but i'm afraid.. i don't want them to feel as though i'm making use of them.. going to them only when i need them..

How can i approach them without making them feel that way..

i feel so ashamed of myself when talking to them.. my birthday's in a week's time.. don't even dare to ask them out.. feel as though i don't have the rights to approach them Sad

the problem is not u making use of them...the problem is u cannot "guo ni zi ji na yi guan"...u feel that since u stayed back...u have lost the link between them and u...u feel that u are now different from them...

alittle bit of inferior complex i would say... Wink

what u can do is try to talk to them during this few days...via msn..like per normal..dont talk about school work and stuff..maybe something of common interest like basketball or soccer...maybe even games...den from there...try to work out how have they been since u last went out with them...

in school also...say hi whenever possible...joke with them...chances are...if they are good friend..they wont bo chap u...

for your birthday...just ask them out lor...go watch movie oso fine...go play pool oso can...but try to make it interesting...chances are they will want to go out again...ha...maybe u can even bribe them with a treat oso..(since it is your birthday anyways)... Laughing

Everybody make mistakes in life... Don't start to look down on yourself even before others look down on you....

I was somehow like you in the past... I still ASKED but heck... They were simply too busy with their 'O' levels to bother... But so what...? At least I asked...? Life still goes on yeah...?

haha I used to have the same thinking also. I be a listening ears to them too. alot of friends have agony will look for me. like I am rubbish bin then just throw all their troubles to me and I give them advice lo.

In this way when I have troubles they will also very willingly help me solve. but not every friends have great listening ears la.

if they treat you as good friend they wont think you are making use of them one.
