there are gals inside too
but in my cohort, there are only 3 gals out of the total 69
students
i not sure about the electronics side...but for my mechanical area,
i can say that you wouldn't be repairing anything at all...during
lab experiments, usually the teacher will demonstrate the engine
running to the students. Reason is because the equipments are
expensive and the sch can't afford to damage it.
For the aerodynamics subject, you would probably be doing CFD. It's
a computer simulation of the airflow over the wings of the plane
and based on the results obtained, you have to write and submit a
report.
