Devil1976 SG Hmm.. I don't think there's seriously anything wrong with hanging out with your friends on Valentine's Day so long as you know how to control yourself...?
Devil1976 SG Reminds me of the time when I bought roses for my ex like spending SO MUCH of my ALLOWANCE... "
rainee SG it is not that I don't want to hang out with them, more like they don't want to hang out with me, cos they said I am "technically" not single anymore
FeowFeow SG I agree with you on the last portion of your post Yes, everyday can be V Day, but that doesn't mean we hafta be so anti-V Day simply because others turn it into a marketing hoohaa. My guy & I celebrate V Day with small gestures, planning the menu for dinner, buying the stuff to make (so far, we've only bought the alcohol ), giving each other massages, SMS each other as much as possible, & lotsa of PDA (PRIVATE Displays of Affection lah! ). FeowFeow
Devil1976 SG 'PLEAD' them lah... Tell them you VERY BORED... Tell them VALENTINE's DAY not for couples but for FRIENDS ALSO... So they SHOULDN'T leave you behind... "
rainee SG nah...I have lots of work to do that day actually, and I will prolly be spending it by talking to my ai ai...and most likely my frens gonna do some kinda bar crawl...after the previous experience, dun think I want to go with them and get drunk again...
browniebaobao SG i duno ba.. coz i dun have a better half for some time liao.. i only feel that 'love is in the air' when v day is near. indeed i agree that there's no need to spend so much on v day.. it's the thought that counts.. if two persons are really in love, it doesn't matter how much is the gift worth or wat.. as long as u are with the right person, that will be perfect.
