Why should she empathize with you? She doesn't even have you in her mind now. Wake up and stop pitying yourself because I don't think she pities you at all.

Being too nice sometimes can be destructive to the r/s because she might have taken you for granted. And she might feel that things are getting too routine, and hence left you to find another guy who will bring more excitement in her life.

I agree with what u haf said on the last sentence.

She did put it straight across my face saying that if a gal is not interested, no matter what I do, she will not be interested. But the point is, we were once in a relationship before.

I agree being nice is no good. She did complained that things are getting too routine. Well, she is not even putting the effort to make it more interesting. I was the one constantly coming up with ideas to surprise and please her. What is wrong with being stable and routine? Marriage life will be even more routine.

She found excitment in another guy. Well, that's only short term. Eventually, once the courtship is over and the "fire" is gone, the excitment will be gone too. And that's when i think the commitment level comes in to substain the realtionship. Gals like her only go by the feelings.

It wasn't a one-sided intially when we were having our honeymoon period. But things changed when she started to work. I dun expect she will return her kindness or love to me like what she used to do.

Sometimes, I feel she is asking too much from me. I see my friends who did nothing and yet their gf still love them. In fact, I was the one who suggested all the wonderful ideas to my friends on how to surprise or pamper their gf. I haf done wonders to my ex-gf but yet all I did means nothing to her.

Why am I holding back? The reason is simple. I have plans to marry her but I din expect her to drop the bombshell. Really nothing can move her meh?
