Taman Jurong Terminal --> Yuan Ching Rd --> Tai Ching Rd --> Corporation Dr --> Corporation Rd --> Boon Lay Way --> Jurong West st 51 --> Jurong West st 41 --> Jurong West st 42 --> Jurong West Ave 1 --> Corporation Rd --> Jurong West Ave 2 --> Jurong West Ave 4 --> Jurong West st 64 --> Jurong West st 65 (3 new bus stops) --> Jurong West st 63 --> Pioneer Rd North --> Jurong West st 93 (3 new bus stops) --> Jurong West st 92 --> Jurong West st 91 (looping point)

Advantages:

- Faster connection to Jurong st 41 from Lakeside MRT (alternative to 335 in both directions)

- Connects st 41/42 to other parts in Boon Lay District

- Pioneer MRT connection to areas within Boon Lay District without connection today (especially st 65 & st 93 getting new stops for easy access for ppl living there)

- Alternate option to 241/99 for the many HDBs along st 91/92

Route amendment to 852:

Good suggestion, provides many unique links, connecting residential areas like Yishun St 61/ Ring Rd and Springleaf/Springside/YCK Rd to MRT stns, Nee Soon Camp and Tagore industrial area. Great use of Yishun Ave 1 as a direct alternative link between Upp Thomson/ Sembawang Rd and Khatib/ Yishun. However, this may be better as a new, separate bus svc instead of an amendment to svc 852, which has significant demand during peak hrs between Yishun and Macritchie/ Bt Timah further down the route.

It is a good suggestion... but a huge amendment... While I support it, I highly doubt LTA is willing to make any such modifications to existing services.

852's current route is hopeless. Either duplicating 851 or 74 or 157. Your suggestion gives a fresh route to 852.

I do recall that SMRT applied to LTA a few times, without avail, to cut the 852 route between Yishun and YCK, such that it starts from AMDEP... No idea why they still want to preserve this route section (if they do).

Okay... So 861 is better? I guess it is possible for this service to go by Yishun Central, then Ysihun Ave 9 and Yishun Ring Road, before continuing...

Hi mr TIB585L, good to have 2 more services for sembawang. A relative quiet place with low human traffic in bus interchange compared to woodlands and yishun. With 1 more service to east and 1 to west, it should alleviate the transport system of residents there. But basically, they are on the NS line and have a faster and direct connection to many other areas, such as dhoby ghaut, orchard, Toa payoh, bishan. If not for the MRT system, they will certainly need much more services than current. Cheers.

I believe there is a way to enter Chancery Ln from Balestier side, since old CCS 603 ply there without much route difference. Might help to extend it to NBR or Marina Barrage via Cantonment Rd and maybe merge with 400
