So far, full-day express services (50x, 51x) feature routes that
serve a sizable section of residential areas before moving on to
the express sector, and your route only seems to benefit Sengkang
residents, so this is probably not viable; such routes are more
suitable for peak-hour premium services. Extending it to
neighbouring Hougang / Punggol at the same time will make the route
too long.
506 is a special case of cross-island express passing multiple
residential areas, but it doesn't pass through the CBD so the route
length is still ok. Doubt any more such routes will be introduced
though.
Have you taken a look at former express routes 501 / 511 / 512
(I'm not too sure of the exact routes)? Or mine suggestion to 82 on
the previous page?
