I thought the ppl here in AA are supposed to be very emphathetic and helpful, especially the mods and several other AA regulars. But that is not apparent in this thread.

I won't presume i know exactly how he felt when he wrote that post. But those are his opinions about love and life, and there seems to be unhappiness and feelings of defeat accumulated over time.

I'm not sure as well what prompted him to write all that. It could be a reaction to a recent event, or it could be that he was just thinking about the past. Or it could be something else. He doesn't say and if I were him, I wouldn't feel like sharing after reading some of the above replies.

This is the forum people come for advice and support, not expecting to be judged and flippantly criticized...or am I wrong about this?

To add, I don't think the mods were wrong in expressing that they can't understand what he's trying to say...?

The mods were not wrong to say that Xlashes needs to explain his situation further to give a clearer picture. If my post came across as being critical of the mods, I'm sorry. I never intended to criticize.

About the threadstarter...sometimes I guess people just need an outlet to pour out their unhappiness, and what they say may be reactions to that unhappiness.

So i've just this to say to all forumites: in all threads in the forum, before we jump to conclusions about anyone's character, perhaps can consider that we ourselves might react the same way if we faced a similar situation. The day may come when we feel we need advice and support here in AA, or simply need an outlet to speak, or rant. Well, I think we'd want this place to be more less judgemental, more accepting.

I am not that weak , I seek help mainly by talking to girls. Yeah , i expect less criticisim , but since i chose to write here , I think i am open to criticism.

My situation is very very complicated . I have a gf who is juz unsure wad she wants . As i was in her situation before , i am understanding but i dun noe how much time she needs to wake up.

I am not going to waste my precious time if it takes forever , i think the most I can give is half a year. I am a popular guy, who has stable career, okay ( some say I am handsome) look , humourous , sensitive , strong-willed man.

I can get pretty flings very easily , but that is not my way of life. I guess I am too innocent that I believe 1-1 relationship.
