They will definitely give a bulk of DDs to Sv 190... But SMRT does not have experience with DDs... Why add to the problems of 190... Better to try out on 963...

Dont worry..SMRT will let at least half of Bsep units deploy first..Then progressively it will registered..You must remember all of the depots and bus park already reached its maximum capacity.They want to registered 10 at one go must wait for older buses to scrap first else where the hell they wanna park?Wldep 330 buses at one go,Wlbp around 240 buses,Kranji about 215 buses and Amdep 165 buses including squeeze to the max parkings..Imagine if there is no ONP @ BBT/CCK/YIS/WRI/SBW/L1G?Bulim only quarter part completed and the most only 100 buses can park for now.

I think now LTA has enough registered buses to cover for the BSEP services mentioned in the press release. In fact, has excess of ADLs to offer to more services than what was mentioned in press release.

Coz I think LTA will only replace BSEP MANs to BSEP ADLs. It will not replace SMRT rigids with BSEP ADLs. Hence, if 190/106 need to get more ADLs, it will have to be from SMRT side.

There will be, although none has been registered as of now...based on the press release by SMRT in April, 218 buses (which includes 98 DDs) out of the 573 new buses ordered will be under BSEP. Thus the remaining 120 BSEP buses should be the MAN NL323Fs.

wrong... they should be replacing 12M buses with DD... and right now, they also dun have enough DDs to go around.

wrong LTA and SMRT should replace bendy for DD bus which i think it happening now. and old SD for MAN SD or anything new SD that come along. Keep bendy for feeder bus service which I think it happen now. One of the reason for DD on CBD area is to make the traffic follow much faster and also it will much safer for city area road.

in fact any news for the new bendy buses? or SMRT quietly not buy any of them? Maybe other operator might have problem let the driver drive them. since lta want to have other operator join in the fun of public transport.

Yes that would be perfect. Especially coz if you see SMRT areas still need more high capacity buses. Almost 80% of its services need it and have been denied for years now. The last bendy order was years back.

500-600?You gotta be joking.How many areas does SMRT control by the way?To make matter worse the third player will join in less than 2 years time..If they really interested in 500 ADLs then they wont order so much A22s in the first place.Sooner or later all the buses will be taken over by LTA.
