They will definitely give a bulk of DDs to Sv 190... But SMRT does not have experience with DDs... Why add to the problems of 190... Better to try out on 963...

Hmm I would say no announcement like SBST still better than having an annoucement to move to the rear. Cos psychologially, it instructs a person who might have considered going up to just move to the back. Anyway, I guess the CCTV screen in at the BC's controls does give a visual of how empty/full upper deck is. So BC can just use that as a guage and ask ppl to move up

Today I spotted a double decker training bus on 852/855 route at Lornie Road towards Yishun.

Should be for 855... would be insane to put DD on 852. Also this would be the BSEP slots of 855 that will get upgraded, not SMRT slots.

u mean for 67 & 960? it was introduced 2 weeks ago. 15 feb & 16 feb respectively

Regarding yesterday 962 DD,
You are right that the BC instead of enter 963, it mistaken enter 962 as today I go down and check is on 963.

SMRT can convert their remaining A22 orders to A95 instead, if not they are going to have a problem with having too many 12m SD rigids soon.

i expect to see more double deckers on sv 67 but to my disapointment see rarely doubel decker. i think only 2 or maximum 3 been put on 67. why so less?

Lack of DDs (BSEP slots) available to deploy on 67... Waiting for them to bring out some non-BSEP SD > DD upgrades soon.

but have 4 bsep slot la. only 2 convert. why. all 4 to be convert no. especial considering that road was widen for double decker specially. and only 2on 67 and few on 960. also no double decker yet on 66.

Isn't it strange that most of the new incoming E500s from BSEP have been posted to KJDEP instead of WPDEP?

KJDEP is almost over with its SD --> DD conversion now on BSEP services unless have plans to BSEP DD fleet add.

WPDEP still has a huge number of services to go as the entire Yishun/Sembawang belt is pending to get upgraded, yet have only 7 BSEP E500s in spare right now.

So think we can expect a good number of E500s to be registered this month under BSEP for Yishun services.

Ya don't worry. Just wait for the remaining buses SMB3577-SMB3598. Remaining non bsep buses SMB5043-SMB5103. Hope that most of these buses will be for WPDEP so that Yishun can get more DDs.
